Why governed AI delivery
Today anyone can spin up an AI-powered tool with a few clicks. The upside is speed; the downside is a quiet loss of engineering thinking — minimal logging, no version control, no guardrails, no traceability. AI accelerates work, but it does not lead it. The model can generate code; only an engineer can make that code reliable, auditable, and safe to scale.
The STRATA Protocol is my answer to that gap: a way to keep AI-assisted delivery governed end to end, so every decision traces back to a business reason and every artifact is accountable.
STRATA was extracted, not invented. The same five layers kept appearing across different stacks and domains — long before any of them shared a specification. The framework is the write-up of something that already worked.
